An easy diagnostic solution

CLASSIC is a user friendly, fast and easy-to-use diagnostic tool. With a comprehensive database, you have the opportunity to read and erase fault codes and turn off the service light on both old and new vehicles. After several years on the market, the construction of CLASSIC is stable, the design is timeless and it is a very reliable diagnostic tool.

The Autocom software for CARS is updated regularly with new vehicle models and added functionalities. CLASSIC and our diagnostic softwares are developed and produced in Trollhättan, Sweden by Autocom.

Comprehensive database with 40,000 systems

CARS software is a very competent tool with features like System Identification, System Search and System Update. You can perform service features, trouble shooting, adjustments and activations on vehicle systems, thanks to a unique vehicle database.

The software contains about 40,000 unique system selections. A number that is growing by every release. CARS includes both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles with all kinds of fuel, electrical and hybrid vehicles.

System Scan

Scan through all the systems in the vehicle and display the fault codes that are stored in each system. This saves time and you get a quick overview of the actual status of the entire vehicle. When the system scan is complete, you can then select a specific control system to analyse the results further on.

Service Light Reset (SLR)

Reset and adjustment of service related messages needs to be simple. Autocom has therefore created a shorcut in the software so that the mechanic do not need to look in several different systems.

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

A smart function in the CARS software that allow you to quickly read out the chassis number from the vehicle that you would like to diagnose. This ensures that the right model and year is selected automatically.

Connector with LED

The LED on the 16 pin connector help you to locate the diagnostic socket in the vehicle, even if is located in a dark and inaccessable place. The location and the design allow the light to function even when using the adaptor cable for vehicles without a 16-pin diagnostic socket.

System Identification

Automatically identifiy and select the type of control unit in the vehicle. This ensures that the diagnostic session is performed correctly with the correct parameters as required.

When model and system are specified, you will see adjustments and adaptations available for this selection. For each function there is also a step-by-step guide for easy performance. The data lists and real-time data that can be read out from the systems are also displayed.

Report function

With the built-in report function in our software, you can add fault codes from multiple systems in a report and show graphs and data from real- time data. Print the final results and you have a professional report for your customers.

Multicolour indicator

With the multicolour indicator on CLASSIC, you have full control of the diagnostic process. Different colours and sounds communicate the status and the placement of the indicator allow you to see it from a far. For example, if the indicator turns green CLASSIC is in communication with the vehicle control unit.
